Why do hardy water lilies seem to not grow in my spring fed pond? Is the PH an issue. I have tried it several times and they just die on me. The water is very cold and stays that way all summer long because it is spring fed  Thanks

Since your pond is spring fed, I also assume that it drains on its own accord.  This being the case, you are not able to control the nutrient levels as they are always being reset by the incoming water.  You should use a tablet fertilizer to hopefully deliver more nutrients to each lily before the fertilizer gets washed out of the pond.
