QuestionMy son has built a pond in my backyard(he's 16) he wants to put fish from our local lake in it as a kind of research project for school. We live in the southern San Joaquin Valley in California. So far he has several bullhead cats a channel cat a desert sucker and lots of tadpoles. we has to largemouth bass but they have since 'crossed the bridge' . any suggestions? and what to do about mosquito control?
thank you
Michelle
AnswerIt's hard for me to say exactly what type of fish are in that particular body of water. It would just come down to a guess. Just don't overstock the pond. Mosquitoes can be taken care of with proper aeration. I've also had good results using a product called Mosquito Dunks.
