I live in Arizona and I have a 125 gallon pond which I have Koi in.  Iam thinkingof getting some sort of fish to help keep bottom of pond clean.  Someone offered me some spotted catfish.  I am wondering if the catfish would be ok in pond and above all if my Koi would be ok with the catfish

Thank you for your question.
Catfish, or Ameiurus is a predator fish and is not the best idea to add to your koi pond.
In general they eat different types of food, and small fish are on that list.
Also when they are bigger, the fish that would be eaten are also bigger.
So personally I do  not advise this!
The best way to hold a bottom clean are bottomdrains and correct water flow.
Maybe a pond vac黰e cleaner can be of help to.
