QuestionDavid,
My outdoor fountain water recently turned milky (I use clorox on a regular basis to keep control of the Algae due to the sunlight). I was advised to use Muriatic Acid to eliminate the milky effect in the water. This worked. However, a couple of days later I noticed the water had to turned to a blue/green color.
How do I rectify this problem? The fountain has been installed for five years with no problems as described above.
Thanks,
Mike Izon
AnswerHi Mike... Change the water... I hope there are no fish in there???? I would use a particle clarifier to clear the water and not muriatic acid... If the clarifier can not deal with the cloudy water... then use the acid but it would be my last choice... dave
