QUESTION: If i have to construct somesort of filtering system and can this be briefly described

Answer
hmmmm I would use a bucket or barrel, whichever is most appropriate for the amount of water you are using... I would fill the bucket with lava rock, a layer of fine sand, and gravel so that the sand is on the bottom, the gravel is on top of the sand and the lava rock is on top of the gravel... I would run a pvc pipe out the bottom of the bucket that led to either another container that you could then carry to your plants or to an irrigation ditch, etc.  I would visit the local aquarium store and purchase a couple of mesh stocking that you could put the sand in... otherwise it will drain out of the bucket with the water.... you can find these stockings in the filter department since they would normally hold loose filter media such as carbon...  hope this makes sense.... dave
