Question
How do I winter my pond lily's?  Do I take them out of the pond, cut them back, or just leave them in the pond. In the past I just left them in the pond but didn't know if this is correct.

Hi Dave,
Thanx for your question.  I just leave my hardy water lilies in the water over the winter.  My pond is about 28inches deep and the water never freezes down that far.  I have lotus I leave in the winter also.  I live in Kansas and it can get very cold here in the dead of winter.  I hope this helps.
