My fish always chill out under a rock in the barrel but one day I saw My Redgoldfish Pure white no other colour but white.
At first I thought it was just one of my Shubunkins because has a white head but when I fed my fish today I saw that the whole fish was White. Should I Treat him or do fish always change colour? Please help Im worrying that he will die. I hope when your not too busy you could find the time to read this. Thank you Kind Regaurds Alfie.P.Adams
AnswerHi Alfie,
Thanx for your question. Does the fish look like it has a lot of white fuzz or fur on it? If the pigment of the skin has change this is quite possible. Goldfish and koi will change colors as they age. Is the fish acting any differently than it did before to indicate that it is ill? I think it is just changing color as it matures unless you can see white fuzz or fur on it which indicates a parasitic disease. There are treatments for this ailment at your pet store. Treat the water according to directions. I hope this helps.
