QuestionI started out 7 years ago with adding 5 koi in my natural pond, I now have about 100, all sizes and colors it's beautiful. Recently, I had my landscaper do some work around the pond (fixing the retaining wall) and he have had alot of rain, now the pond is muddy and murky and I'm afraid it will hurt the fish, what can I do to clear up the water?
AnswerHi Paula,
Thanx for your question. How big is the pond? The floor of the pond is dirt/mud, yes? You're probably going to have to use alum or gypsum but I'd like to know how big the pond is. Do you have a filter in it? The heavy rains are probably what have caused the murkiness. Let me know so I can answer your question.
thx,
Tom
