Hey there again

My new project is I'm trying to root a pineapple.

I took the leafy part out, stuck in a cup of water and voila. I'm getting some roots coming out of it.

HOWEVER!!!!

I'm having to change it/wash it every single day because mold is growing on it also.

What can I do?? It's fuzzy and white puffs.

Hi Desirai,
Thanx for your question.  It must be pretty humid and stuffy wherever you have this plant.  If you're indoors, use an oscillating fan to keep the air moving and this helps reduce the chances for fungal growth.  If you have it outdoors, I'd bring it inside and finish rooting it indoors.  I hope this helps.
