QUESTION: Yes this is the plant and I went to the site but it did not answer my question why the plant is loosing their leaves and flowers. I hope you can thank you.Sorry to keep bothering you about this.
AnswerHi Betty,
Thanx for confirming the plant issue. You're not bothering me at all. This is what I'm here for. I just wanted to make sure I had the right plant.
Betty, the shrimp plant needs consistent watering during the growing season so you will need to make sure it gets at least one inch of water per week. That equals to a regular good soaking once a week if you're not having regular rain. Additionally, if it is especially hot and it is growing in a tub or raised bed, you may want to water it every day or every other day if the soil is drying out quickly. Otherwise, leaves will continue to drop. Leaves often drop on a plant when it is stressed for water because the plant loses so much water out of the leaves. I hope this helps.
