Germinated Bismark Palm care

Question
HI Tom from Ontario Canada!

I love gardening especially unique and different plants from other areas.  Recently I have started germinating palms from around the world and actually am having great success.  Living where I do these palms will be container grown,  moved outside in the summer months slowly being adjusted to sunlight

My question is I attempting to container grow a Bismark Palm,  seeds are already germinating, One has germinated in a clear plastic bag, the other 2 I put in peat pots and plan to pot peat pot containing germinated Bismark Palm seed into large pots hoping not to disturb the roots this way.
Do these palms require full sun prior to the first leaf/frond appearing,  the roots are about an inch or so long,  would now be the time to plant in the large pots?

I could use any advice/help that would help container grow this beautiful palm.

Thank You in advance from a plant/palm lover in Ontario Canada

Answer
Hi Larry,
Thanx for your question.  The minute you see your Bismarck palm seeds germinating, plant the seeds in individual (large) pots.  The roots can be very brittle and easily break and kill the seedling.  You want to handle the rooted seedlings as little as possible until they are well established.  You can grow them  under lights while very young but as soon as you can get them outdoors, the better and the warmer it is outdoors, the better.  Keep them well watered and don't allow them to dry out when they are young.

I found the site shown below to be very helpful.  I've germinated and grown several varieties of palms.

I hope this helps.
