QuestionI dug up some offsets at the base of a sago plum plant and would like some info. on how to plant or root them. Some have a little root and some have only the ball. Thanks

Thanx for your question. Are you talking about sago palm? If so, here is a great link that has pictures that might be helpful for you. Many folks refer to the offsets/offshoots as "pups".

I started some sago palms from seeds about 10 years ago with some fairly good results. If you have seed, soak them in lukewarm water for about 3 days and then plant in a pot of regular potting soil about 2 inches deep and keep warm at about 80癋/27癈. Germination can occur in 2-6 months.
