QuestionI had a pretty good garlic crop last year and let several to the heads grow. I have a bunch of what looks like little garlic cloves (1/2 - 3/4 in diameter). If I plant these, will they produce garlic next year?
AnswerHi John,
Thanx for your question. The garlic bulb is made up of a number of small cloves. Each of these cloves is capable of producing a new bulb. This is the time of year to plant garlic. Here is a link to planting garlic that I think you will find helpful.

The link is from the University of Minnesota but the information can be applied pretty much anywhere in the USA and Canada.
I hope this helps.
