AnswerHi Falguni,
Thanx for your question. What kind of fruits are you talking about? Fruits like apples will not grow well in most parts of India because the weather is too warm. If you're talking about tropical fruit like guava, papaya, mango, starfruit, etc. Those all can be grown in containers and kept dwarf by keeping the growing point cut once the tree reaches 5-7 feet tall (or smaller if you like). If India allows the importation of plants without too much trouble (some countries require all kinds of taxes and permits which make the plants outrageously expensive...) you can order dwarf fruit trees on line and have them shipped to you. I have grown citrus and avocadoes from seeds from fruit we bought in the grocery store. It's easy. Let me know what kind of fruits you want to grow and I'll tell you how to grow them.
thx,
Tom
