Question
I am want to start this plant from seed. I would appreciate some information about the soil type, how deep the seeds need to be and the time they take to germinate.

Hi Mike,
Thanx for your question.  I would just use some good potting soil and barely press the seeds onto the soil because they need light to germinate.  Keep the soil uniformly moist but not soggy and keep the temperature warm.  The seeds take from 30-180 days to germinate and germination may be sporadic.  As the seedlings are large enough to handle, gently prick them out and plant into separate cells.  I hope this helps.
