QuestionHay Tom...I have trouble growing petunias in my yard...I have had them in hanging baskets and in flower beds...they will look great for a while but after about a month they start to either turn yellow, become spinely, stop blooming, etc. What do you suggest for keeping them beautiful, bountiful and full of blooms thru the summer???...its hot here in Mississippi...Thanks, Jamie
AnswerHi Jamie,
Thanx for your question. Buy some liquid fish emulsion at the nursery or DIY and follow the directions on the package. Use the recommended mixture once every 10 days. This will perk up your plants and start them blooming again. Also, when you first plant your petunias (even in the hanging baskets), incorporate a handful of well-composted manure. I hope this helps.
