QuestionHi Tom, I was reading your response to another person growing Aggies from seed and I wanted to know something. I just sowed what I hope were the seeds from a seed head. They were black and papery just like in the photos, but they were all broken up and in different shapes. Does this matter or did I lose the kernels (as it were)... Thanks Kat
AnswerHi Kat,
Thanx for your question. It sounds like some of the seeds were broken. They tend to be flat, papery and blackish. The longer they are stored the more brittle they become and they start breaking up. Hopefully, you had enough material intact that some will sprout. I hope this helps.
Tom
