AnswerHi Marie,
Thanx for your question. You're asking after growing tabermaemontana coronaria and T. divaricata, right?
I cannot find any references for growing from seed. These plants are popularly propagated by stem cuttings. Take 10 cm cuttings preferably cut at the leaf axil (where the leaf meets the stem) and strip all but the last two leaves off. Dip in rooting hormone and then stick them 1 inch deep in warm, wet sand. Seal inside a clear plastic bag to maintain humidity. Keep out of the sun or it will cook them but keep under lights indoors until you start seeing new growth come out of the stems. It will take at least 8 weeks. Plant in separate pots when rooted and then acclimate to the outdoors by placing in the shade for 10 days. Keep the sand moist and wet but not water-logged while waiting for roots. Also, keep warm. Ideal temperature is 26癈 or 27癈. I hope this helps.
