QuestionI have a Lil Kim. How do I get seeds from it to grow more? What do I look for and what do I do with them?
Thanks
AnswerHi Sarah,
Thanx for your question. Lil Kim is a patented plant and cannot be reproduced vegetatively by law. If you try to save seed, the seed will not result in a similar plant because this is a hybrid. I don't even know if Lil Kim has viable seeds. Many of the new cultivars of Rose of Sharon are being hybridized either not to produce seed or the seed that are produced are sterile because the older varieties of Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) can be so invasive and troublesome. I hope this helps.
