QuestionHi,
We have a large more than 20yrs old maple tree. This year we noticed gall mites on the leaves. Almost every leaf is covered with them. As a result, there is a sugary substance that falls off the tree on our vehicles and driveway, which is very sticky but comes off with water. What is the best way to get rid of these mites?
Thanks
AnswerHi AP,
Thanx for your question. I'm not really a tree expert. We do have a tree expert here on Allexperts, Jim Hyland. He was with the U.S. Forestry Service and I'm sure he is much more qualified than I am to answer your question. If you will go back to Home/Gardening and click on Trees, you'll find Jim. I hope this helps.
Tom
