QuestionWhat's the best way to propagate an almond tree? I now have one tree. Several nuts fell off the tree during a storm. Can they be planted?
AnswerHi Charles,
Thanx for your question. Here is a link to the University of California for growing almonds.

The nuts from your almond tree can be planted however, be advised that most almonds are grafted onto hardy rootstock. The seeds are the result of hybridization and will most likely result in plants and fruit that are inferior to the one you currently have. It will take 5-7 years for a tree to produce nuts from being planted as a seed. I hope this helps.
