Orange leaves on Princess Plants

Question
All my princess plants are getting orange leaves this year.  This is the first year this has happened.  What does it mean and what should I do?

Thank you
Frank

Answer
Frank, this is usually an indication of a lack of iron in the soil. You can add an iron supplement to the soil for a quick correction to the problem. For long-term success, I would amend the soil with organic matter that includes peat, aged manure, and compost. These materials will balance the ph levels, improve the tilth of the soil, and provide a constant supply of nutrients throughout the growing season.

For your convenience, attached is a link to a product that will help correct the problem with the foliage discolorization.

I hope this information helps. Please write again if I can ever provide assistance.

Mike
