QuestionI would like to know how to collect the seeds from the flower for next year. Also
I live in a cold climate - can these be grown indoors during winter?
AnswerHi Indu,
Thanx for your question. Wait until the flowers dry and then shake or rub the flower over a white paper plate. The seeds will be shiny and black like little poppy seeds. I suppose you could grow cockscomb indoors in the winter but I don't believe it would be a very successful houseplant. There's nothing saying you can't go ahead and try it if you like. The thing is, in a cold climate, the sun is weak and these plants like strong, direct sunlight. I hope this helps.
