QuestionI have an opportunity on my hands to buy lily bulbs that are done blooming for this season. however, they have dozens of bulbils on them. some of the bulbs even have sprouts coming out of the mother bulb. is it a worthwhile investment for abotu $0.75/bulb?
AnswerHi Shehnshah,
Thanx for your question. What kind of bulbs are you talking about? I can think of tiger lilies that have bulbils growing in the leaf axils. These will readily produce new plants that will bloom in 2 years. At 75c a bulb, I would say that is probably a good deal. I hope this helps.
