I'm sorry, I don't know what Mother Stock Tree is.  I refer you to Jim Hyland who is on our Trees Forum here at Allexperts.  He is a tree expert and was with the U.S. Department of Forestry.  Perhaps he would be able to help you.  Go back to Home and Gardening and under Gardening, click on Trees and you'll find Jim.  I hope this helps.
