Question
Hi my Yuka plant as just flowered.  It has a number of quite large side shoots, can these be cut from the main trunk and re-planted?  I live in the Algarve Portugal.  The plant is 2 metres high.

Thanx for your question.  One of my dreams is to someday visit Spain and Portugal.

You can remove the side shoots from the yucca by slicing them off the main plant with a very sharp knife, don't break it off.  Plant it immediately in a pot of warm, moist sand and keep it moist.  It should root rather quickly.  I hope this helps.
