QuestionQUESTION: I'm not sure if your the right person to ask about this but I'd thought I'd try anyway. I'm currently learning about how to grow a Hydroponic Garden which I will be starting from seeds. I have a family of 7 and I was wondering how big of a garden would adequately feed us for a year. I would be planting lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, herbs and probably a few more plants that I can't think of right now. I've checked into buying a Greenhouse and building my own greenhouse the one size I was considering was 12x15, 15X15 would that be big enough?
ANSWER: Hi Carol,
Thanx for your question. If you live in the U.S. your local county extension service has home economists and ag agents who can tell you exactly how many rows, the best varieties for your area, etc. If you'll give my your state and county I can get you local contact information. I hope this helps.
