Is it possible to purchase sweet almond tree seedlings or do I always have to start from seed?

Hi Allen,
Thanx for your question.  Prunus dulcis is the almond tree and yes it is easy to buy on-line.  Most almonds are not hardy north of Zone 6 but I think there may be some cultivars that will grow in zone 5.  Here is an example of a company that sells almond saplings.  I have never dealt with this company personally so I am not making a recommendation, just using them as an example.
