Don't know if you are the right person for this question, but I have several 3 year old (about 2 inch trunk) dogwoods that are not flourishing. Some are growing straight and narrow and others "fat and short".
Would you recommend that I trim and shape dogwood trees to accellerate and strenghthen growth.
