Question
I am not a gardner but last year I put 6 seeds in a large flower pot.  I am not sure now but I was thinking I planted peach seeds.  I have 4 healthy looking seedlings in the flower pot and wonder how I can tell if they are apricot seedlings or weeds.  The leaves do not look like peach leaves if that helps but they do look like they could be apricot leaves.  They are about 18 inches tall and look healthy.  Thanks

Thanx for your question.  If these are apricot or peach seedlings, the stem will definitiely look like a sapling or like a whip of a tree.  The leaves should also begin resembling a tree's leaves.  Peach leaves are longer and thinner.  Apricot leaves should look somewhat heart-shaped.  I hope this helps.
