Questiontrying to grow a coral tree from seed, and or cuttings.
i live in malibu, CA. have a coral tree where i live, can get plenty of seeds/cuttings. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Myself, I prefer the seed method. If you nick the seeds they germinate easily at warm temps (about 80 F). You can try soft wood cuttings, 6 inch long cuttings of green (soft ) wood. Strip all of the leaves but the last 2 or three. Use wet sand in a container and dip the cuttings in a rooting hormone. Stick the cuttings into the wet sand about 1-2 inches and keep warm and wet. Rooting occurs in about 8 weeks. You can check by gently probing near the cutting with a pencil to check for roots. I hope this helps.
