I would like to know how to propogate Dracaena spike. I have two large ones outdoors and I would like to take cuttings from them

Hi Judy,
Thanx for your question.  If you have offshoots of the plant, cut them away from the mother plant with a sharp knife and just stick them in a pot of moist soil and keep it moist but not soggy.  It will easily root.  Bigger plants can be cut within a few inches of the ground and then you can cut the stem into 3 or 4 inch sections and stick those in a pot of moist potting soil.  Keep moist but not soggy.  These will easily root also.  I hope this helps.
