Question Someone had given me some calla lilly bulbs, and now I've got seed pods which are greenish yellow. When do I cut them from the plant, and collect the seeds?
AnswerHi Carol,
Thanx for your question. Allow the seed pod to completely dry out but take a look at it every day so it doesn't drop off and get lost in the growth around the plant. Store the seeds in a sealed glass jar and store the jar in a dark, cool, dry place until you are ready to plant the seeds in the spring a few weeks before the last frost. I hope this helps.
