Question
I just recently bought a couple of the type pansy and it hadn't flowered but had lots of buds(or so I thought) Anyway it began growing and I waited to see the purple blooms open and VIOLA! no flower just seeds> What has happened? Have I missed the blooming time? I have had the for about 4 or 5 weeks. It is now 5/18. Did I do something wrong? Please help if you can. Have a blessed day.

Hi Missy,
Thanx for your question.  Here's what I think happened.  The pansies had already been blooming before you bought them.  There was an extreme cold experienced by most of the U.S. which stopped most plants from blooming and growing.  Your pansies decided to set seed and not bloom anymore.  They should begin blooming soon as it has warmed up and they will continue to bloom until it is too hot and they die.  The may not bloom at all.  I'm sorry.  I hope this helps.
