QuestionWe've just moved to a house with a big sunny back lawn, and my daughters want to plant fruit trees (sour cherries or plums) to mark the transition. We don't want anythign too big, so they can still have room to play. What is appropriate for our zone and can you recommend any self-pollinating varieties that we can plant in April? Thanks!
AnswerHi Alissa,
Thanx for your question. Check out this nursery in Canada. They have recommendations for sour cherries and plums in the Ottawa area which should do well for Montreal. I hope this helps.
