QuestionHello !
In the subject that is the way the person who sold me the wisteria seeds named them. I need to know what is the best way to get these seeds started. I was told to break the shell of the seed. But in nature is the seed getting broken in order for it to grow ? Also I would like to Bonsai this plant how would I start this ? I am new at this and would really appreciate any and all help you can offer.
Sincerely , Miranda

If by wisteria you mean Wisteria sinensis the purple flowered woody vine, the seeds are easily germinated in a few weeks in moist potting soil. I just pushed the seed into the soil and covered it and it germinated in a couple of weeks. Take the flat seeds out of the pod and plant them in individual cells. In nature, the seed pod will rot as it is exposed to the elements, thereby exposing the seed which will germinate once the weather warms up. I hope this helps.
