Questionis there a way old trees can b restored
AnswerHi Jimmy,
Thanx for your question. I'm not an expert on fruit trees but I do know that trees like all other life, have a lifespan. Some trees will live thousands of years like the sequoias in California. Other trees like olive trees will have survived for 500 years or more. Fruit trees are generally good for about 10-30 years depending upon the type of tree. Unless the tree has some sort of sentimental value, you'll probably want to put it out of its misery and start with a new sapling.
I found this story in the Texas Gardener that I thought might benefit you. I hope this helps.
