Questioni live in washington state and have just purchased a snowball bush in full bloom. where should i plant it? sun/shade/wet/dry....and when should i plant it? any reccomendations for companion plants?

does well in full sun and part shade. keep soil moist but not soggy, will endure some drought when fully mature. You can plant it now. Because they grow so large, most snowball bushes I see are grown as single specimens either as a hedge or a centerpiece in the yard. These bushes get large and will drown out anything planted around them. A climbing rose, though, might be nice in the background. I hope this helps.
