QuestionHi Tom
We are currently collecting seeds from various plants in our garden to see what we can propogate and I was wondering whether all seeds need to be dried before planting? There are some flowers which have large pods with smaller seeds inside, should the pod be dried before extracting the seeds?
thanks

Answer Hi Jo,
Thanx for your question. All seeds should be allowed to dry out completely. Wait until the pods begin to split open. You can enclose the pod in a piece of cloth and tie it off. Check it after a week to see if it has dried out. It may have burst open and by tying it off inside a piece of cloth, you will save the seeds from being blown around the garden. I hope this helps.
