Question
In school we are supposed to grow a plant in one month.  The object is to get the tallest plant and it cannot die.  The plant cannot need high maintainence or need to be watered every day.  Is there a plant that leaps to miond?  It needs to grow indoors, and be situated on a windowsill.  Please help!

Hi Syd,
Thanx for your question.  If you are growing a plant from seed, I would recommend beans.  They germinate quickly and grow quickly.  If you want to grow something alrady started, I would recommend going out in the backyard in digging up a common weed like lamb's quarters or a wild morning glory.  These plants will grow fast if you keep them warm and sunny and occasionally give them some water.  I'm serious.  If all you're after is something that grows fast why not a weed?  They're plants too.  I hope this helps.
