QuestionI have accumulated several different kinds of seeds dating from 1986 (the oldest) to the current date. I have been told that a seed is a seed and it will grow, but have not had much luck with some of them. Is there a secret to growing old seeds?
AnswerHi Kathy,
Thanx for your question. Most seeds lose their viability after a couple of years. There are not many varieties of seeds that are any good after about 5 years. The secret is not in using old seeds but in using fresh seeds. I hope this helps.
