QuestionWhat is the proper procedure to use in the propagation of Honeysuckle? Thanks....
AnswerHi Dominick,
Thanx for your question. Honeysuckle is easily propagated from rooted runners along the ground near the mother plant or you can "layer" the plant by taking a part of the vine that will lay on the ground. Make a cut into the vine but don't sever it, just wound it and dab some rooting hormone like Rootone on it and cover with dirt. Place a rock on top to keep it in place and keep it watered like the rest of your plants (at least one inch of water per week). It should root in about 8 weeks. I hope this helps.
