QuestionHi Tom,
I'll bet this is a tough one. I've never noticed any flowers/seeds in a sassafras tree. How would someone grow more? Take a root cutting?

AnswerHi Art,
Thanx for your question. The best way to propagate a sassafras tree is by digging up one of the suckers that grow around the tree. The suckers come up from the root of the tree so be careful to dig down until you have a good root system and sever it from the adult tree. I hope this helps.
