QuestionSomeone asked me how they propagate seedless watermelon and I couldn't answer! Do you know how it's done?
Thanks,
Janet
AnswerHi Janet,
Thanx for your question. Seeds for seedless watermelons are produced as a result of hybridization that to my knowledge only the big boys and girls in the seed business know how to do. Hybridizing is complicated and takes lots of experience. Experience that I don't have. I wouldn't know where to begin. There are some rudimentary white, sterile seed like structures even in so-called "seedless" watermelons. I hope this answers your question.
