Questioni have my yard full of crushed stone and was thinking of just putting topsoil over so there is a bottom to it but can you put sods over crushed stone instead. Would it take hold?
AnswerHi Vickie, the stone should be removed and then lay the sod. You'll need to check the pH of the remaining soil, it may be way off if the stone was limestone. Don't try to add soil over or lay sod on top of the stone, you'll have pH, watering and winter kill issues beyond belief. Jim
