I am purchasing a mobile home and upon inspection we noticed a 10 foot diameter area of white mold under the trailer on top of the soil. Its in a depressed area that probably collects water. Is it dangerous? and how should I get rid of it?

Hi Richard, I'd loosen the soil surface and spray the area with a 20% bleach/80% water solution.  If the area stays damp, it may return, so look for ways to prevent water from getting under the home. Dangerous?  Probably not.  If you are prone to allergies, have someone else get under there.  Jim
