My onions always are to hot to eat is it my soil if so what to do.

Hi Garnet, Hard, packed soil can cause onions to have more intense flavor.  Onions with the highest water content tend to be sweeter, but most of the time it's because of variety.  There are "sweet" onions like Yellow Granax (aka Vidalia), Walla Walla, Texas Sweet, Sweet Spanish, Maui and there are storage or "hot" onions like yellow or white Bermuda. Make sure you are getting the right onion.  Jim
