Can hydrated lime be used in a dog pen to control odor?  Is exposure to hydrated lime harmful to dogs?

Hi Tracy, Hydrated lime is labeled for use around stables and dog pens for odor control.  After application, I'd water it in and keep your dogs off the area until dry.  When dry, it can irritate eyes, skin and mucous membranes, but not after it's been watered in. Jim
