Question
I was given about 25 rolls of sod from a landscaping site that has some mold in it.  How can I get rid of the mold.
I live in Redding, CA and the hot weather is only a few weeks away.

Hi Sara, I'd rake out the dead tissue and then spray with a good fungicide.  Check with your local independent garden center for the correct product approved for use in your area.  You are going to have to water to get the sod to root in, so you'll need the fungicide to save the grass.  Jim
