QuestionI tilled my garden a couple weeks ago and it was real clumpy so I figured it was to moist and let it dry out for a week and tilled it again. still clumpy. So I tilled it again to help dry it out. Now I have hard dry clumps.Nothing but clumps!!! I feel clumpy!!!HELP!!!
AnswerHi Jerry, Soil should not be tilled if it sticks to a shovel or the tines of your tiller. After the next thorough rain, check it every 24 hours until it doesn't stick to your shovel, then till it again until the clumps are marble to golf ball size. Then plant and water thoroughly, your plants should do fine. Jim
